Correction to: Cytokine mRNA Degradation in Cardiomyocytes Restrains Sterile Inflammation in Pressure-Overloaded Hearts

In the article by Omiya et al, “Cytokine mRNA Degradation in Cardiomyocytes Restrains Sterile Inflammation in Pressure-Overloaded Hearts,” which appeared in the January 14, 2020, issue of the journal (Circulation. 2020;141:667-677. doi: 10.1161/CIRCULATIONAHA.119.044582), a correction is needed.


An overlap was discovered between 2 CD45 and CD68 staining panels for TAC-operated Reg−/− mice in Figure 2B and 2C. In Figure 2C, the panel showing CD68 staining for a TAC- Reg1−/− heart was mistakenly generated from an image showing CD45 staining for a TAC- Reg1−/− heart during the preparation of the artwork. Quantitative analysis for CD68 was performed using the correct images. These corrections do not alter any of the conclusions of this paper, and the authors apologize for any confusion these errors may have caused.
